Stephan Dürken

Stephan Dürken was the youngest of four children in his family. He grew up in Hiltrup (Münster), where he visited the "bischöfliche Gymnasium" and chose the subject art. After school, Dürken worked as a measurement help and was interesetd in the Zen-buddhism. In 1991, a mental illness interrupted his life. Dürken is living in a resident group of the Alexianer. In the Kunsthaus, he has his fix-place. His works generate great interest at the yearly exhibitions.
