The Förderkreis Forum Illenau e. V. and the city of Achern present more than 90 works from the collection of the Kunsthaus. The exhibition presents the theme "dwelling and landscape" in all its facets: as an architectural design, as an imaginary housing, as a symbol or soul space for desires and fears. The Illenau in Achern (Baden-Württemberg) was once a facility for people with mental illness. Today, the museum is home to a museum whose aim is to bring back memories of bygone times and to create a meeting place.
