Travelling exhibition

Hearing, seeing, reading – in this exhibition text and poetry of established westphalian authors goes hand in hand with psychiatry experienced authors.

The texts are presented in a multimedia format, which is created by the scenographer and stage designer Jeremias Vondrlik, who chose a light-intensive, projecting, interactive and auditive presentaion.

The presented outsider texts got written throught a writing prompt, which go under the skin due to their immediacy.

The fact that they are presented in one breath with texts of canonized authors is a conscious act of inclusive art education.

The exhibition is part of the large-scale project of the same name, which is being organized by the Literature Commission for Westphalia of the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL) and the Kunsthaus Kannen with numerous partners in 2022 and 2023.

outside | inside | outside is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the LWL-Kulturstiftung.

In addition to the exhibition, lectures, recitations and readings will take place in the Kunsthaus on twelve evenings (7 pm) dealing with the topic of "Psychological Crises in Literature" and aspects of biblio- and writing therapy (Angela Thamm):
