Opening: 3rd of June, 3pm

The exhibition presents works by artists who perceive drawing as a texture, as an aesthetic fabric and relational structure made up of lines or threads, very different in their layout, dynamics and charisma.
For Josef König, short strokes and gyrating lines create tangles, nets, whirls and cubicles which accumulate punctually, charge themselves with composition and narrative and then dissolve completely into another surface.
By contrast, the dense hatchings of Heinz Thomas create a uniform texture. Through their different inclinations the fields are set into motion.
Like a hovering grid, Erwin Winter applies stroke by stroke, creating a vague spatial impression that draws the eye closer and closer to the fine lines.
Laura Rammo transforms the appearance of fabric and yarn into paper and color. Her textile drawings show abstract, floating, almost lost forms.
